Being an Engineer and a city type of person I get amused by certain expressions that I never heard before. I know that you are saying that the helmet is good, but I am not sure how the expression makes any sense (literally or figuratively even).
I'm also curious about how our European friends interupt this.
BTW, I use a half helmet with goggles and sometimes glasses and I sure hope that I never find out if the helmet works or not.
